What is the minimum duration of the subscription?

The minimum duration of the subscription is 12 months. This way we can make the subscription more affordable.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription one month before the end of the minimum term.

Can I upgrade my subscription plan?

Yes, you can do that at any time by contacting us through email or phone.

How do membership discounts work?

You can get a flat rate discount of 15% on any hours booked in the Audio and Video Studio. This discount also applies to our equipment rentals. The discount is exclusive to the member of the subscription and cannot be used by another person.

How do priority bookings work?

Priority bookings mean we will always aim to schedule your session prior to any non-member sessions, even if your booking os very last minute.

What is Chartmetric and what is Chartmetric Data?

Chartmetric is a music analytics software designed to help an artist and their team to track and chart performance, among other metrics, across multiple streaming platforms. We will generate monthly reports for you, so you can focus on building better strategies around your releases.

Promotion through The Hana Road Social Media channels

Our social media channels are followed by various industry professionals, A&Rs, radio stations, and promoters. This provides you with a great opportunity to get your name out there and to be spotted by the industry.

What is a Cover Art production and why do I need it?

Cover Arts are the first thing listeners see before they listen to the track. Great and creative cover art can increase your chances of being added to playlists, and increase your streams. We will produce cover art for your release, either based on your photo(s) or our own digital drawings.

What are the social media banners and what do I need them for?

Social media banners are a great way to build awareness about your upcoming release or a track you have already released. We will make social media banners for the most popular social media platforms, such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter.

How does releasing on The Hana Road Music Group Label work?

You have the option of releasing one track per month on The Hana Road Music Group Label with a split of master royalties of 30% to the label and 70% to the artist. The release would also go on our YouTube channel, which is part of the Warner Music Group network.

What is the artist consultancy?

We offer 1-hour monthly consultancies where we go over strategies, help build a long-term plan and provide general guidance in the world of music business. Consultancy meetings are done either in person or remotely.

What is a weekend charge?

Certain subscription plans will have no weekend charges, giving artists and creators more flexibility to schedule sessions and book appointments.

What is a non-exclusive beat?

Certain subscription plans will allow you to choose one of our custom-made beats and instrumentals per month, which will be available for non-exclusive use. “Non-exclusive use” means that there can be several artists using the same beat or instrumental.

What does a session musician do, and do I need one?

Many songs and productions, even in genres like EDM and hip-hop, still have real musicians recording live instruments such as guitar, piano and backing vocals. We will arrange one professional session musician for your project free of charge.

What is a 3D-Animation of Release/Teaser and do I need it?

Animating your cover art and incorporating 3D graphics can be a great way to make your teasers and cover art stand out on social media, increasing engagement with your new release.

Multi-Artist use

If you have a subscription with the Multi-Artist use option, you are not restricted to using this subscription for one artist. Two or more artists can share it. The total quantity of studio hours and other services remains the same.

Free rentals - how do they work?

Some subscription plans offer free rentals. Depending on the plan, you will have the possibility to rent our equipment for a certain amount of time for free, or have that amount deducted from your rental if it goes beyond the subscription value. Check our rental catalogue here.

Can my unused studio hours or other services be carried over to next month?

No, it’s not possible to carry over unused hours, rentals, consultancies, or animations to the next month. This is the only way we can guarantee quality service and spaces for everyone.
